Biography & Introduce
James Metcalf received his Bachelor’s degree from UT Arlington with double majors in History and Business Administration. He then attended UNT Dallas College of Law, graduating with his Juris Doctorate in 2020.
James is licensed to practice law in Alabama and the State of Texas. He is also licensed in the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Federal Districts of Texas. He has been sworn into the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Metcalf has extensive experience in civil litigation, business transactions, and securities law.
In addition to his dedication to the practice of law and justice, James serves as a deacon at his church. He is married to his wife, Sarah, and is a dedicated father to their son. James strives to provide his clients with the best service possible. When clients may not see the light at the end of the tunnel, he guides them through the legal process and offers hope in difficult situations. He is excited to advance his legal career at Carpenter & Associates and hopes to provide the necessary help and guidance to clients navigating their legal journeys.
